Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Troup County, Georgia. You will work at a busy gas installation company. Ideal candidate: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing Day-to-day duties: • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
