The role involves verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height. Ideal candidate: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
