Join our team: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Cole County, Missouri. The job is in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Day to day you will set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
