Immediate opening: we are hiring a commercial tyre fitter in Appanoose County, Iowa. You will be based at a car service centre. On a typical shift you will remove and refit hub caps and locking wheel nuts; demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine; keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres; handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies. You should have: • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage • Comfortable working outdoors and in all weathers • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
