Ideal candidate: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers The role involves season and marinate meat on request; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience.
