Lifting rigger — Queen Anne's County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Queen Anne's County, Maryland. You will work at a container port. On a typical shift you will tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; read lift plans and method statements before starting; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit. You should have: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Full-time, day shift.
