Now hiring: steel fixing chargehand (Louisiana)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Livingston Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. The role involves: • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing What we are looking for: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) 3+ years on the tools preferred. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
