Vacancy available: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Cattaraugus County, New York. What we are looking for: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations Day-to-day duties: • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site Part-time with flexible hours.
