Now hiring: we are hiring a power float operator in Milton Keynes, England. The job is at a ready-mix concrete plant. On a typical shift you will float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer. What we are looking for: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer £2,700 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
