Great opportunity: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Morgan County, Kentucky. The role involves set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman. Requirements: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
