Steel fixing chargehand wanted in Southend-on-Sea

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Southend-on-Sea, England. Day to day you will cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine. What we are looking for: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Full-time, day shift.
