We are recruiting: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Bottineau County, North Dakota. You will be based on a busy residential building site. Requirements: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules The role involves lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine.
