Gas service engineer • Bowie County, Texas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Bowie County, Texas. The job is at a heating and plumbing contractor. You should have: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration You will locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $5,500 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
