LGV Class 1 driver • Hempstead County, Arkansas

Now hiring: we are hiring a LGV Class 1 driver in Hempstead County, Arkansas. The job is at a container freight yard. The role involves: • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock What we are looking for: • Valid digital tachograph card • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence 2+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $4,600 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
