Great opportunity: we are hiring a relocation porter in Dewey County, Oklahoma. You will work at a family home during a house move. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out a walk-through inventory check before leaving each property • Operate a tail lift to load heavy or bulky items into the van • Secure loads in the van with ratchet straps and blankets to stop shifting in transit • Label boxes by room to speed up the unload at the new address • Protect doorways, banisters and floors with corner guards and floor runners • Pack fragile items such as glassware and crockery into boxes with bubble wrap Ideal candidate: • Able to work as part of a team and follow instructions from the crew leader • Previous experience in removals, warehousing or manual handling 6+ years on the tools preferred.
