Argon arc welder — Cochran County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Cochran County, Texas. The job is on a structural steel site. The role involves: • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run What we are looking for: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety 5+ years on the tools preferred.
