Turning centre operator — Alpena County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Alpena County, Michigan. You will be based in a job-work machining unit. You will load and index turning tools in the turret; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets. You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
