Urgent requirement: container truck driver (Scotland)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a container truck driver in Midlothian, Scotland. You will be based at a container freight yard. You should have: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements On a typical shift you will report defects and book the unit in for servicing; log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules.
