Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium fitter in Columbia County, New York. Requirements: • Knowledge of standard sliding, casement and openable sections • Able to read shop drawings and work to given sizes • Accurate to the millimetre on cuts and mitre joints You will cut aluminium profiles to size on a double-mitre cutting saw; fabricate and fit aluminium composite panel (ACP) cladding; erect curtain walling, shopfronts and partitions on site; punch and notch sections for cleats, gaskets and hardware; de-burr, clean and protect anodised or powder-coated surfaces; drill, tap and rivet sections and fix with self-drilling screws.
