Urgent requirement: reinforcement fitter (Kansas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Butler County, Kansas. You will work on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Your main tasks: • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level 1+ years on the tools preferred.
