Fire and safety officer — Pettis County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Pettis County, Missouri. You will work on a high-rise building project. You should have: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Day to day you will take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date. 1+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
