Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Borough of Thurrock, England. Day to day you will adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork. Requirements: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Six days a week, one day off.
