Now hiring: we are hiring a furniture maker in Scott County, Kansas. You will work at a shopfitting company. The role involves plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists Full-time with occasional weekends.
