The role involves: • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing What we are looking for: • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Confident with manual handling and load securing 3+ years on the tools preferred.
