VMC operator • Morgan County, Georgia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a VMC operator in Morgan County, Georgia. You will be based in a toolroom. You will load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe. Requirements: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
