Now hiring: we are hiring a CNC mill setter-operator in Habersham County, Georgia. The job is at an automotive components factory. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters You should have: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift 5+ years on the tools preferred.
