Immediate opening: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Buffalo County, South Dakota. The job is on a quarry floor. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes You will strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
