Machine operator (earthworks) — Owyhee County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Owyhee County, Idaho. You will work in a demolition and site-clearance yard. Day-to-day duties: • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter You should have: • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
