Conventional mill operator — Garum Mallam

Immediate opening: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Garum Mallam, Kano State. You will work in a toolroom. The role involves: • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
