Industrial sewing operator — North Ayrshire

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in North Ayrshire, Scotland. The role involves change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet. What we are looking for: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance £2,650 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
