Plant operator (dozer) — Lake County

Join our team: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Lake County, South Dakota. You will be based on a road construction project. Day to day you will backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
