Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Bibb County, Alabama. You will be based in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. You should have: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Day to day you will top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake.
