Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Lake County, Indiana. The role involves: • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments Requirements: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
