Urgent requirement: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Franklin County, Indiana. You will be based on a busy construction site. What we are looking for: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging The role involves keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block.
