Reinforcement fitter — Greene County

Now hiring: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Greene County, Mississippi. You will be based at a high-rise construction project. On a typical shift you will read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine. Ideal candidate: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
