Immediate opening: we are hiring an uPVC window fitter in Fayette County, Alabama. The role involves fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame. You should have: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
