Laundry presser wanted in Ogemaw County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a laundry presser in Ogemaw County, Michigan. You will work in a busy laundry. What we are looking for: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory The role involves press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; give each garment a final press before packing. Six days a week, one day off. $5,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
