Blocklayer • Cassia County, Idaho

Now hiring: we are hiring a blocklayer in Cassia County, Idaho. You will be based on a commercial construction site. Day to day you will building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding 1+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
