Rebar installer • Miami County, Indiana

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar installer in Miami County, Indiana. You will work at a rebar fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling You will place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $130 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
