Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Montgomery County, Kansas. Your main tasks: • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience.
