Now hiring: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Mason County, Michigan. The role involves: • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray What we are looking for: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
