Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Foster County, North Dakota. The role involves: • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose You should have: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Rotating shifts.
