Vacancy available: we are hiring an ev charging technician in West Sussex, England. Ideal candidate: • 18th edition wiring regulations qualification (bs 7671) • Proven experience installing domestic and commercial charge points • Niceic, napit or equivalent competent person scheme registration Day to day you will carry out periodic inspection and testing (eicr) on installed charge points; run new swa or t&e cable from the consumer unit to the charge point; test polarity, insulation resistance and earth loop impedance; explain the charger's operation, app and billing setup to the customer; mount and level the wallbox on a wall or freestanding pedestal; install a dedicated circuit with rcbo protection and correct cable sizing.
