Urgent requirement: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Nez Perce County, Idaho. You will be based at an industrial plant. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges On a typical shift you will carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations; seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant; spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness; lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding.
