Shuttering carpenter wanted in City of Emporia

Join our team: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in City of Emporia, Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters Ideal candidate: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules 6+ years on the tools preferred.
