Immediate opening: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Cayuga County, New York. Requirements: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Able to read formwork and structural drawings Your main tasks: • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs Full-time, day shift.
