Fabricator-welder — Olmsted County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Olmsted County, Minnesota. You should have: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Your main tasks: • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
