Urgent requirement: confectioner (California)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a confectioner in Shasta County, California. You will work at a café with an on-site bakery. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens The role involves: • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter Pay around $5,300 per month, based on your experience.
