Vacancy available: machinist (Kentucky)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a machinist in Letcher County, Kentucky. You will work at a busy garment factory. Your main tasks: • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension What we are looking for: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line 2+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
