Gas installation technician • Tooele County, Utah

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Tooele County, Utah. You will be based at a boiler and appliance service centre. Requirements: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations Your main tasks: • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply 2+ years on the tools preferred.
